Philosophy: Day Camp is a unique blend of outdoor ministries and congregational ministry. It is a joint effort between camp and congregation. It is an evangelical ministry which reaches both church and community youth as well as enriches the lives of the adults who become involved.
Purpose: Day Camp provides congregations with a vibrant and versatile ministry opportunity. Utilizing a Spirit-filled and energetic staff of young adults, Day Camp delivers a fun community-centered program focused on sharing God’s love and forgiveness with kids ages 5 to 12. The Day Camp structure impacts both congregations and communities.
Through the combined involvement of hosting church volunteers, both youth and adult, Day Camp fosters the intergenerational relationships necessary for nurturing faith and growing discipleship. The emphasis on living out God’s unconditional love creates an environment by which everyone from the community feels accepted.
Ages of Campers: For those having completed Kindergarten - 5th grades.
