Living Water Ministries employs approximately 25 seasonal staff each year. Candidates for these positions should have a relationship with Christ that is reflected by a heart to serve others. The summer season is a physically and emotionally demanding time, but also extremely rewarding. Applicants selected for employment will be expected to be a part of staff training prior to the start of the summer season.

Program Innovator

Living Water Ministries is seeking a new Program Innovator. This position is more than a job; it’s an invitation to ministry. We’re seeking someone with a heart for the ELCA and our identity as a Reconciling in Christ community, called to walk alongside youth and young adults as they grow in their faith.
The Program Innovator will:
- lead the creation, development, and ongoing renewal of all Living Water Ministries programming, spanning residential camp, retreats, hotel-based events, and church partnerships.
- oversee summer operations at Stony Lake Camp, including hiring and supervising seasonal staff.
- carry responsibility for maintaining ACA accreditation and state licensing standards.
- partner with the Executive Director in building relationships with ministry partners, make church visits, and represent Living water Ministries at Synod events.
The ideal candidate brings grace-filled theology, creative energy, strong organizational skills, and genuine love for people of all ages. A bachelor’s degree is required, and summer residency at Stony Lake is expected from mid-May through mid-August.

Living Water Ministries is searching for our summer 2026 team of faith formers, servant leaders, leadership developers, community builders, and world changers. We offer a meaningful summer working with students grades 1-12, adults with developmental disabilities and children in foster care.
