Code Pink is the name of our camp store, and during the summer months campers have an opportunity to purchase snacks and camp memorabilia on almost a daily basis. Beyond getting a treat each day, Code Pink is a time where the whole camp community gathers together to laugh, play, and relax. In truth, Code Pink is a little moment of sabbath time nestled into each camp day where the clamor of conversations is a holy sound.
We know first-hand the challenges of this year of pandemic. While the pace of the world has changed, it’s been hard to make sabbath time where laughter, play, and relaxation are achieved. We also know that amidst virtual learning and screen time overload many are experiencing, stepping away to engage hands-on activities “off-line” can be a breath of fresh air.
With that in mind we’ve created Code Pink boxes filled with a variety of camp-style activities and Living Water Ministries swag. Tie-Dye a shirt, engineer the best way to protect an egg being dropped from various heights, go on a scavenger hunt, build a spoon catapult, and enjoy items from our camp store including an exclusive “Year Zero” button that commemorates this pandemic year.
2020 happens to be the 75th year for our facilities and Stony Lake, and we’re offering to send you one of the 75 Code Pink boxes we’ve assembled for a donation of $75 in support of Living Water Ministries. Since supplies are limited, we encourage you to act quickly. Also, if you know a camper that would like a box and can’t swing the $75 donation please e-mail our Executive Director with a request. We’ve set aside boxes so that there isn’t a barrier for someone who wishes to have one. Otherwise, please click the “Give Today” button below to make a donation and receive your Code Pink Box.
What’s in the Box?
This box is packed full of stuff from camp-style activities to camp swag to help stir up all those favorite camp memories.
